CORNWALL – City police executed search warrants late Tuesday night at a Brookdale Avenue apartment complex in connection to a break-in.
A witness tells Cornwall Newswatch at least three cop cars were lined up outside the Brookdale Arms from 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night until after midnight.
Staff Sgt. Brian Snyder told CNW there was a break-in to an apartment within the Brookdale Arms earlier in the evening.
“Police attended, investigated and identified two suspects. The suspects appear to also be residents of Brookdale Arms,” Snyder said.
Details on whether anything was taken were not available as the investigation is ongoing.
