SD&G – Portions of SD&G could see up to 25 centimeters (10 inches) of snow by Monday morning.

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning Sunday morning for SD&G.

Forecasters say the heaviest snow is expected tonight and overnight, which could make for a tricky morning commute on Monday.

The snow will be coupled with a strong northwest wind of 50-70 kilometers an hour, which will cause blowing snow and reduced visibility on area roads.

The snow should taper off by Tuesday morning, Environment Canada said.
