SUMMERSTOWN – New interpretative signs will be unveiled this weekend for the cross country and ski trails at the Summerstown Forest.
Members of the Friends of the Summerstown Trails will hold a news conference Saturday morning to show off the new signs.
It also coincides with the annual Fall Clean-Up Day.
The township and the Friends received a $3,000 donation in May 2015 from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, which will cover the cost of three to four signs.
The Summerstown Forest is also in the middle of a parking lot renovation. A section of the woodlot near County Road 27 has been clear cut to make way for a new parking lot with greater visibility.
