Woman accused of biting Cornwall police officer

CORNWALL – A woman from a community north of Kemptville is accused of biting a Cornwall police officer.

The 26-year-old was arrested Sunday (Sept. 18) after officers were called to a Marlborough Street home.

The accused was on court conditions not to drink alcohol and police said she had been drinking and also found drugs in her possession.

During their investigation, Cornwall police said one of their officers was bitten on the hand.

A North Gower, Ont. woman has been charged with assaulting police, breach of undertaking and two counts of drug possession.
