Barbecue and politics for August

SDSG – The local political barbecue circuit will be in full swing this month.

Local riding associations and SDSG MP Guy Lauzon will be holding barbecues this month to network with local constituents.

The first one is this Sunday (Aug. 14) when Local MP Guy Lauzon and his wife, Frances, have their 12th annual constituency picnic at the Lauzon home in St. Andrews West from 1-3 p.m. at 17276 County Road 18.

Then, the following weekend, the SDSG NDP Riding Association will have its annual barbecue on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 from noon until 3 p.m. in Lamoureux Park

The SDSG Liberal Riding Association will round out the month of barbecues with a BBQ and corn roast at the Lost Villages Museum on County Road 2 on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016 from noon until 4 p.m.

They are expecting to have MP Francis Drouin from Glengarry-Prescott-Russell as a guest.

All events are free and open to all constituents.
