CORNWALL – A journey from Cornwall to Kitchener has begun…all in the name of raising money for the United Way of SD&G and March of Dimes Canada.

Keith Bourne is walking the 538 kilometers along County Road 2 in a bid to raise awareness for Involuntary Moments/Tic Disorders – an affliction he has had for almost four years.

Keith started off Sunday morning from the parking lot at 1400 Vincent Massey Drive.

“Keith approached United Way expressing his interest in undertaking an event to raise money and help increase awareness at the same time”, said Lori Greer, United Way SD&G Executive Director.

Keith, who chose Kitchener as his destination because he has friends in that community, is expected to arrive on Aug. 15, 2016.
