CORNWALL – The area’s business voice will be surveying its members to try and figure out challenges and barriers to growth.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce Director Patrick Larose announced Tuesday (July 26) it will be doing a “comprehensive survey” of the small business sector.
The 10-question online survey has been launched and asks a number of questions on filling vacant staffing positions and whether “public policy initiatives” have affected business success.
The survey will be open for the 600 chamber members until Aug. 12.
The chamber plans to incorporate the survey results with information it collected from a recent roundtable discussion and will send it to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and chamber members.
Cornwall’s submission will be part of the OCC report, which will be published in October during Small Business Month.
