CORNWALL – An arrest has been made in the weekend defacing of the cenotaph on Second Street West.

Officers arrested Dustin O’Byrne, 21, yesterday (July 11) and charged him with four counts of mischief and breach of probation.

Not only was the cenotaph in Legion Memorial Park spray painted over the weekend, but four other buildings were tagged in the area near the war memorial.

The Cornwall man is being held for a bail hearing.
