CORNWALL – A city hotel has been recognized by a widely-known American travel website for its service to clients.

Ramada Cornwall was given a Certificate of Excellence this week by TripAdvisor.

The certificate from the travel website recognizes hotels, eateries and other venues that have received strong praise and ratings from travellers.

The review is based in the quantity and quality of reviews over a 12 month period and a business has to maintain a consistent “bubble rating” of at least four-out-of-five to qualify.

The 112-room Ramada Cornwall is on Brookdale Avenue next to the Rotary Traffic Circle.

The hotel recently made headlines as it housed students from the Ontario Hockey Academy, who were displaced by a massive fire.
