SD&G – Some services and stores across the Seaway Valley will be shut down for Victoria Day Monday.
Municipal offices in Cornwall and the townships in SD&G will be closed as are banks and schools.
Cornwall Square is closed Monday as are LCBO and Beer Store locations, with the exception of some agency stores.
The Cornwall Public Library and branches of the SD&G County Library are closed.
The Cornwall Aquatic Center will be open on Monday from 1-1:55 p.m. and 2-3:25 p.m. for a leisure swim. Center hours are 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The Benson Center is open for regular programming. The Cornwall Civic Complex will also be open for regular programming however the administrative offices will be closed.
Cornwall Transit is not running and the office is closed.
You will get no mail delivery and Canada Post offices will be closed on Monday.
Some grocery stores and most restaurants are open (call ahead or check online).
Garbage and Recycling, Splash Pads
In Cornwall, there will be no collection on Monday. Garbage and recycling will be a day later than your normal pickup during the week. The splash pads in Lamoureux and St. Theresa Parks will be open during the long weekend.
In South Stormont, garbage and recycling collection is not affected.
In South Glengarry, garbage and recycling will not be collected Monday. Your pickup day will be delayed by one day.
In South Dundas, the township office is closed. The splash pad in Earl Baker Park will be open for the season starting tomorrow (May 21).
In North Dundas, the Boyne Road landfill will be closed Monday. Curbside pickup is not affected by the long weekend.
