CORNWALL – The 15th anniversary of the Cornwall Run to endMS has brought in more than $37,000.
That preliminary figure from Cornwall MS Society office manager Karen Torrie-Racine.
Over 400 runners enjoyed a cool, sunny day on the course along Cornwall’s waterfront trail.
It was also the first time for the marathon distance from Chrysler Marina, which was a Boston Marathon qualifying event.
Rob Lapensee of St. Catharines, Ont. won the marathon with a time of 2:45:31.
There were also five kilometer, ten kilometer and half marathon distances.
The Cornwall MS Society will use the money for mobility aids and home care, among other services.
