CORNWALL – The case of a former president of the Cornwall Minor Hockey Association, facing fraud-related charges, will be going to trial late next year.

Brian Caskenette, 59, is charged with fraud over $5,000, theft by conversion and breach of trust.

He’s accused of using the hockey association credit card for personal use and submitting unauthorized expenses.

The charges were laid Nov. 4, 2014 following a five month police investigation.

A judicial pre-trial will be held January 17, 2017 and then pre-trial motions will be held March 7-8, 2017.

The first two weeks in October 2017 have been set aside for the trial.
