CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is facing multiple charges after getting into a scuffle with police.

Officers were called to a Twelfth Street home this morning about an unwanted person.

While dealing with the situation, a man pushed two officers and attempted to grab a taser out of one of the officer’s duty belts.

After a struggle with police he was arrested and some marijuana was seized.

But the fight didn’t end there because, at the police station, the 27-year-old was accused of grabbing another officer by the wrist.

He’s being held for a bail hearing on charges of resisting arrest, three counts of assaulting police, disarming a police officer and possession of a controlled substance.
