Update: The abducted girl has been found safe in Pembroke. The father is in custody. Amber Alert has been cancelled.
AURORA, Ont. – A province-wide Amber Alert has been issued in the possible abduction of a five year old girl by her father.
Julia Della-Cruz, 5, is 3-foot-5 inches tall, with a thin build and weighs roughly 60 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a green shirt and grey track pants.
Her father, Mario Rodrigues, is 46-years-old and is roughly 5-foot-5 inches tall and 160 pounds with short, dark hair, brown eyes and is clean shaven.
They were both in a silver 2008 Toyota Sienna van with Ontario licence plate BEZY 781.
The van was last seen heading south from Aurora, Ont. around 6 a.m. Monday morning.
