NORTH DUNDAS – With the continuing problem in the township, provincial police are asking people to again respect closed signs on all-terrain vehicle trails.

This, after three people were charged with trespassing on Sunday (March 13) after police received a complaint about people on the Nation Valley All-Terrain Vehicle Club trails.

“Trespassing on the NVATVC trails continues to be a problem in North Dundas Township,” the police force said in a release.

In addition to staying off the trails when they are closed, police said recreational vehicle users should stay off if they don’t have the correct trail passes and safety equipment.

Not only is the act illegal but it also puts agreements between private landowners and the ATV club at risk of revocation.
