SD&G – Staff at the Cornwall and Winchester hospitals have delivered their first babies of 2016.
The first one came at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital around 8 a.m. Friday morning but the family declined the hospital’s request to publicize the event.
At the Cornwall Community Hospital, Charlie Maurice Lee Paul was born at 10:44 a.m.
The 5 pound, 8 ounce baby boy is the third child for the family of Amanda Dupuis and Christopher Lee Paul of Summerstown.
A hospital staffer said both the child and parents are doing well.
