Near perfect survey for North Dundas long term care home

WINCHESTER – How do you top a near perfect satisfaction rate? You add one more percentage point.

Results released Wednesday from the Dundas Manor Long Term Care Home in Winchester show a 98 per cent satisfaction rate, up from 97 per cent in 2014.

Residents and their families are polled annually on everything from nursing to food, cleaning and communication.

The home was “delighted” to have a 66 per cent response rate to its survey.

“The critical information collected allows us to plan for improvements in the coming year,” administrator Norm Slatter said.

The lowest scored will be reviewed during an upcoming improvement planning day.

The for-profit long term care home on Clarence Street in Winchester has approximately 98 beds, according to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
