NEWINGTON – A clothing collection is being taken for a couple who lost everything in a house fire Monday night.

Rob and Pansy Lang were visiting relatives in Casselman when fire levelled their home on Fairground Drive.

In a post to the Newington Matters Facebook page, there’s a need for men’s size 4X clothing and ladies size 1X.

The donations are being accepted by the Newington Wesleyan Church. The drop point in Newington is the porch of 12 Ash Street.

A do-not-use water advisory is still in effect for the village.
