CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings have recorded their first win of the season in a 6-2 victory over the Laval Predateurs Saturday night.
Nearly 1,200 fans were at the Ed Lumley Arena as Nicolas Pard scored two goals in his first game with Cornwall.
The River Kings are now 1-9-1 on the season.
Pard was named first star of the game, along with Pete Karvouniaris as second star and Antony Courcelles as third star.
Cornwall travels to Laval on Friday night at 8 p.m. for their next contest.
