Colts fall to Lumber Kings

CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts lost 5-1 to the Pembroke Lumber Kings Thursday night at the Ed Lumley Arena.

Tristen Elie, coming off a week on fire and named the CCHL Player of the Week, got the Colts first on the board with his eighth goal of the season.

The Lumber Kings tied it up in the final minute of the first period and then went on to score three more goals in just under five minutes during the second period.

They added another goal in the third period.

James Edwardson suffered the loss in goal.

The Colts, now 10-8-2, travel to Brockville to take on the Braves Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
