Two vehicles impounded for speeding

SD&G – Two Toronto drivers had their vehicles impounded for a week for excessive speeding on Highway 401 through SD&G.

Officers clocked a vehicle at 170 kilometers an hour on South Glengarry on Friday afternoon. A driver, 47, was charged.

Then officers stopped another driver, 22, for allegedly going 155 kilometers an hour on Saturday morning.

Both drivers also had their licences suspended for a week under Ontario’s street racing law.
