B&E ring thwarted with four arrests

CORNWALL – City police have taken down a break-and-enter ring with the arrests of four men.

The break-ins had happened during July and August in the north end of Cornwall, primarily on Ellen Avenue, Emma Avenue, Cumberland Street and Lisieux Avenue.

During their investigation, police searched a number of places in the city as well as executed search warrants in the United Counties with the help of SD&G O.P.P.

Montreal police also helped in locating some of the suspects and arresting them before they were turning over to local authorities.

Two men from Cornwall – ages 19 and 21 – and two men from Dalkeith – ages 19 and 45 – are facing a number of break-and-enter related charges.
