CORNWALL – The federal election candidates in SDSG will debate social issues next week during an all-candidates debate.
The Social Development Council of Cornwall and Area is hosting the debate at the Seaway Valley Community Health Center at 353 Pitt Street on Sept. 22.
The two-hour debate, which starts at 6 p.m., will cover issues surrounding social justice and well being.
According to the schedule, there will be five questions put to the candidates, followed by audience questions if there’s time.
The social development council is hoping the event will “bridge the information gap between our leaders and community members.”
