IROQUOIS – A possible electrical fire has caused thousands of dollars damage to Iroquois Pizza.

South Dundas Fire and Rescue got a call around 9 p.m. last night (Thursday) after a passerby noticed flames coming from the building at 4 Miller Street in the Iroquois Plaza.

Firefighters were there roughly seven minutes later and were able to put out the fire.

Fire Chief Chris McDonough said Friday the cause is suspected to be electrical and the damage, including smoke damage to the bank (Royal Bank) next door, is around $30,000.
