SDSG – The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce will host a federal all-candidates debate next month in the city.
The debate will be held Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
Chamber President Denis Carr says there are a number of upcoming federal issues that impact the Cornwall region, including more support for economic development and the new international crossing.
“We are a principal gateway, not only to Cornwall and the Counties, but to Canada itself,” he said.
The debate will also be broadcast on TV Cogeco.
Running in SDSG for the Oct. 19 vote are Conservative Guy Lauzon, Liberal Bernadette Clement, NDP Patrick Burger and Green Elaine Kennedy.
