CORNWALL – If you travel in and out of the city via McConnell Avenue you will have to make some different driving plans next week.
The city is shutting down the intersection at Eleventh Street on Monday and will be shut down for two to three weeks.
Detours will be in place on Tollgate Road, Pitt and Sydney Streets and Ninth Street.
Construction workers with Cornwall Gravel are installing new sewers to hook up to the new pumping station on Eleventh, which is expected to address flooding problems in the area.
The city is asking for you patience and apologizes for the inconvenience.
