SOUTH STORMONT – A young African man has been charged after riders on a Montreal-bound bus got quite the shock Monday.
SD&G O.P.P. say a 21-year-old man was allegedly performing an indecent act while on the Megabus, which was seen by a number of other passengers.
The driver pulled off Highway 401 in South Stormont, where officers arrested the man from Dakar, Senegal.
He’s been charged with performing an indecent act in a public place, indecent exhibition, possession of a controlled substance and mischief.
Const. Tylor Copeland tells Cornwall Newswatch the act didn’t involve anyone else on the bus but he couldn’t get into specifics because it’s evidence in an ongoing investigation.
The man was held for a bail hearing in Cornwall.
