MORRISBURG – Wanting to making a connection with rural SD&SG, Liberal candidate Bernadette Clement will launch her federal election campaign in Morrisburg.

The Cornwall lawyer and city councillor announced Monday she will start her campaign Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Russell Manor Bed & Breakfast at 36 First Street.

“(Launching at Russell Manor) gives us the opportunity to meet our Dundas County and area supporters and to connect to our party’s history,” she added, comparing the political approach of Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau to the “sunny ways” approach to politics of Sir Wilfrid Laurier.

On Thursday (Sept. 10) at 5:30 p.m. she will open her city campaign office, at 628 Pitt Street in Cornwall, before heading to North Stormont for a meet-and-greet with supporters.
