Section of Marlborough Street to be closed through the fall

CORNWALL – If your daily travels take you through the southern section of Marlborough Street you will have to make plans for the next couple of months.

The city plans to shut down a section of the street from Water Street to Second Street in order to install new sewers and water mains. Also going in are a new blacktop, curbs and sidewalks.

Malyon Excavation has already got started with some of the work and the project is expected to take until the middle of October to complete.

The city is thanking residents for their patience and cooperation.
