WILLIAMSTOWN – People who like pickleball, croquet and badminton will be enjoying some new equipment.

The township’s recreation department recently got a $3,000 cheque from TransCanada from its Community Investment Program.

“Ideally, the township would like to introduce programs that are accessible to multiple demographics within the community,” said Joanne Haley, General Manager of Community Services, “The equipment purchased with these funds will certainly help us reach that goal.”

The township applied for the grant in December.
