River Kings add points to their crown

CORNWALL — Two key forwards for the Cornwall River Kings have come to terms with the LNAH team.

Veteran Pierre-Luc Faubert and Guillaume Parenteau will be hitting the ice in September when the River Kings open the pre-season hosting Sorel-Tracy.

Faubert, 29, had nine goals and 17 assists in 39 games last season, while Parentau had 23 points in 25 games between Saint-Georges and Cornwall.

Training camp will be Sept. 4-6 at the civic complex.

Here’s the entire pre-season schedule:

• Saturday, Sept. 12: Sorel-Tracy at Cornwall, 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 18: Cornwall at Laval, 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 19: Laval at Cornwall, 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 25: Cornwall at Trois-Rivieres, 8 p.m.
