
WINCHESTER/KEMPTVILLE – Environment Canada has dropped a tornado warning for Kemptville and Merrickville, however the warning remains in effect for Winchester.
There have been reports of funnel clouds in the area just south of Osgoode, Environment Canada reported late Sunday afternoon.
Weather watchers have also spotted rotation in the clouds associated with this storm, which has now moved into Prescott-Russell.
Meteorologists said this is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.
You should take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
The agency said if you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately.
