CORNWALL – A neighbourly squabble led to a charge of assault with a weapon for a Cornwall woman.

Police say the accused got into an argument with her neighbour Sunday and it quickly escalated to the point where she threw “some vegetation.”

The vegetation amounted to a fistful of grass and twigs, Const. Sherri Cameron told Cornwall Newswatch.

The victim, who wasn’t injured, was struck on the back of the neck and the police were called.

The accused, 63, has a court date in August.
