SOUTH GLENGARRY – A shocking find for police officers, east of Cornwall, after they found a taser and a whole lot of drugs.
SD&G O.P.P. pulled over a vehicle around 6 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 401 in South Glengarry.
Inside the vehicle they found cocaine, magic mushrooms, methamphetamine pills, ammunition and a taser.
The guy driving, 39, from Les Coteaux, Que. and a woman passenger, 24, were arrested.
The man is facing a number of charges including four counts of drug possession, driving while impaired by drugs and carrying a prohibited device in a careless manner (the taser).
The woman was charged with four counts of drug possession, transporting ammunition and carrying a prohibited device in a careless manner (the taser).
The man was held for a bail hearing while the woman was released with a July court date in Cornwall.
