
CORNWALL – City police are asking witnesses to come forward after a man was arrested for allegedly pointing a firearm over the weekend.
An 18-year-old man was arrested Sunday afternoon after police got a report of a man pointing a firearm at citizens in the area of Cumberland Street and Fourth Street.
Officers took him into custody with their guns drawn and recovered a BB gun during the arrest.
The accused is charged with assault with a weapon, impersonation, possession of a dangerous weapon, pointing a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
