Glengarry schools raise money for Hospice Cornwall

ALEXANDRIA – Students from two Glengarry high schools are performing tonight (Tuesday) in a bid to raise money for Hospice Cornwall.

The fundraiser, which is in its third year, takes place at the Glengarry District High School in Alexandria starting at 6:30 p.m.

The event, featuring singers, dancers and bands, was put together by Char-Lan District High School student Paisley Robertson.

Robertson organized it in appreciation for the hospice caring for her mother, who lost her battle with cancer.

Tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults.

Organizers are hoping to make or break last year’s total of $8,000.
