North Lancaster home destroyed by electrical fire

LANCASTER – A North Lancaster home has been levelled by fire.

Roughly 35 South Glengarry firefighters from the North Lancaster, Williamstown, Lancaster and Martintown stations were called Friday afternoon to the home on Concession 6.

The South Glengarry Fire Service says the home is a total loss.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

No one was home at the time of the fire at 3 p.m. Friday.

The cause has been pinpointed as electrical in nature.
