CORNWALL — The city’s planning, parks and recreation department will experience an exodus over the next two months.

GM Stephen Alexander and Parks and Recreation Division Manager Christine Lefebvre are both set to retire.

Alexander has been with the city since 1979 working in three different city departments during his tenure.

Lefebvre has been behind the walls of city hall for 32 years, starting as an aquatic coordinator in 1983.

Alexander’s last day is June 12; Lefebvre’s is July 31.

The city will work on hiring replacements in the coming months.
