Cyclist struck on Glengarry Boulevard

CORNWALL – A cyclist took a hard fall after being hit by a car on Glengarry Boulevard in the city’s east end early Wednesday afternoon.

The cyclist and a car collided on Glengarry Boulevard at the entrance to the Eastcourt Mall just before 1:30 p.m.

The force of the collision sent the cyclist to the ground where he hit his head on the pavement.

Firefighters, paramedics and police were on the scene shortly after where medical crews checked over the male cyclist as a precaution.

Police don’t expect to lay charges.
