SOUTH DUNDAS – The Municipality of South Dundas is the latest township to snuff out all open air fires.

A burning ban is in effect as of today (Wednesday) for all open air fires and recreational fires until further notice.

South Dundas joins South Stormont and South Glengarry, which instituted burning bans within the last week.

The region has been dealing with extremely dry conditions with no rain in the forecast until the weekend.
