Grain terminal court date delayed

SOUTH DUNDAS – A court hearing over a building permit for a proposed grain terminal won’t be heard until the summer.

Chris Rownteee, along with Charles Crober, are appealing the building permit for the UTI property on Lakeshore Drive.

The proposed Ontario Grain Terminals facility at the deep water port, west of Morrisburg, would consist of two, 20,000 ton grain bins with the possibility of adding two more in the future.

The appeal was to be heard last week but the matter has evidently been put off until July.
