CORNWALL – Things appear to be ramping up when it comes to accessibility for the Agape Center.

The soup kitchen, food bank and clothing store received $150,000 Tuesday for a new accessibility ramp at the front of the building at 40 Fifth Street West.

MPP Jim McDonell made the announcement as part of a tour across the region for a series of Ontario Trillium Foundation announcements.

The ramp, which will replace the center’s aging staircase, is part of Agape’s “Within These Walls” $1 million building campaign which will address four infrastructure projects.
