Trillium grant rollout this week in SD&G

CORNWALL – Our MPP is making the rounds of SD&G this week as a number of organizations are holding photo-ops after receiving Ontario Trillium Foundation grants.

Jim McDonell will be at the Seaway Seniors Club on Guy Street at 11 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) for a successful funding application announcement there.

Then there are two grant rollouts on Wednesday.

The St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences will announce OTF funding for its American Eel project at the Power Development Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m.

The Quilt of Belonging in Lancaster will announce funding on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the office on Oak Street and Military Road.

The Ontario Trillium Foundation gives out $110 million every year to 1,300 organizations across the province for the so-called “public benefit sector.”
