CORNWALL – Mark your calendars for the 2015 edition of the Raisin River Canoe Race.
Paddlers will take to the river on Sunday April 19, 2015 and will travel 30 kilometers from St. Andrews West to Williamstown.
This is the 43rd year for the rite of spring known as the longest paddling event in Eastern Ontario.
Last year, 305 canoeists and kayakers braved the cold water and rapids to compete for trophies as well as a participation medal.
The event is organized by the Raisin Region Conservation Authority and you can get more info by emailing info@rrca.on.ca or by visiting their website.
