RENFREW – An O.P.P. officer has been arrested on charges of criminal harassment.
The O.P.P. Professional Standards Bureau launched an investigation in September due to a complaint filed against a 37-year-old officer in Eastern Ontario.
The 13 year veteran with the O.P.P. is being charged with two counts of criminal harassment as well as unlawfully entering a home.
He is scheduled for court at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on March 25, 2015.
The name of the offending officer and the detachment where he worked is withheld to protect the victim’s identity.
