A little bit of history this Valentine’s Day

CORNWALL – It’s not all hearts and kisses this Valentine’s Day. Heritage Cornwall will be hosting the annual Heritage Fair at the Cornwall Square.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first floor of the mall, and is a free admission event.

A number of heritage groups from Cornwall and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry will be in attendance with displays about the area’s local history.

Some of the groups participating in the event are the Police Association, local historian Sara Lauzon, SD&G Historical Society, Heritage-Patrimoine Cornwall, South Dundas Historical Society, Chesterville Historical Society, United Empire Loyalists, Généalogie et Archives St. Laurent, and Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall.
