CORNWALL – Time is running out on the nomination process for the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

The banquet is expected to be a grand affair this year, as it marks 125 years of service to the community. The Business Excellence and Citizen of the Year Awards will both be delivered during the evening on February 21, 2015 at the Civic Complex.

The Business Excellence Awards recognize and celebrate individuals who have achieved excellence in their sectors, fostered grown, innovation and community service. The recipients are nominated by their peers, as a tribute to their achievements.

The deadline for nominations is a week from Friday (Jan. 30).

“We have already put out the call for nominations in each of the awards and the response has been good,” says Chamber Executive Manager, Lezlie Strasser. “However, there are likely many others who would like to see a business or individual recognized and we want to remind people that the deadline for nominations is Friday, January 30.”
