Masquer-Aid the night away for Candlelighters

CORNWALL – After its hit success last year Masquer-Aid is back for another round!

The gala was held last year to raise find for Candlelighters, an organization that supports young cancer patients and their families.

Last year the gala raised just over $30,000.

Candlelighters offers many programs and services to support young cancer patients in Eastern Ontario. They offer support programs for immediate and extended families, provide financial assistance as well as proving electronics to children to continue their education while undergoing treatment.

The second annual Masquer-Aid Gala is planned for Feb. 13, 2015. The evening is expected to be filled with entertainment such as silent and live auctions, music, dancing and a three course dinner. The Gala will be held at the Ramada Inn, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6 p.m.

There will be a formal dress code, and masks will be provided. Tickets are $75 and available at Life’s Little Pleasures, Scotiabank or through email, with tables of eight available for reservation.
