SOUTH STORMONT – During a routine stop for a traffic violation, SD&G O.P.P. arrested a Quebec man for possession of marijuana.
The stop occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2015 on Highway 138 in South Stormont
The male driver from Riviere Beaudette, Que. is charged with possession of a controlled substance under 30 grams (cannabis marijuana), driving a motor vehicle with no currently validated permit and failure to notify a change of address.
The man was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall for the drug charge on Feb. 10, 2015.
