CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is facing fraud-related charges after a local business was duped into cashing phoney cheques, say police.
City police were called after several personal cheques were cashed between Dec. 10 and Dec. 19, 2014.
The accused, 45, was arrested Friday and charged with six counts of fraud under $5,000.
He was released with a promise to appear in court Feb. 19.
